All duties would take place in this context. Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery Monitor and control inventory levels and stock replenishment Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs Key Job Deliverables: Cost-effective procurement of goods and services Quality supplier relationships and contracts that meet quality and delivery requirements Optimal inventory levels and efficient stock management Qualifications & Background work experience: Bcom & CIPS accreditation Expertise in running a large scale manufacturing procurement operation Ensuring compliance with procurement processes and preventing loss and fraud Optimising procurement processes, supplier selection and contract negotiations Ensuring the company has the best suppliers in the industry and also ensuring backup suppliers Advantageous: Inventory and Warehouse Management Personality Summary: High Analytical - Strong with analysis, metrics, data and fact based decision making. Moderate Administrative - Good with procedures, processes and best practices. Adv: Moderate Driver - Ambitious, Results Orientated Go-getter. Self-Starter. Makes things happen.
