Role Summary The incumbent is to ensure effective administration systems, Communication mechanisms and procedures are in place to support Reception and Administration Team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality administration and Customer service provided daily to patients, doctors, stakeholders and staff. The successful candidate will also oversee the Credit Control, Billings and Case Management functions Key Work Output and Accountabilities Manage the day-to day operations of the Reception/Admissions/Administrative Team(Inc. Bed Bookings, Pre-Admission, Switchboard, Credit Control, Billings and Case management, providing a reference point regarding the management of daily activities for customers and staff. Will be responsible for the line management of the Administration team, acting as a main point of contact for Reception and Administration staff, offering support and providing mentoring, training and monitoring of Reception and Administrative staff. To ensure a friendly & efficient service to our customers, by effectively managing waiting times and expeditiously attending to customer complaints. Must have extensive knowledge of Medical Scheme Rules and Policies, Coding and PMB. Managing of Employees Timecards on the KRONOS system. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification. Previous Managerial/Supervisory experience in a private healthcare environment is essential. Ability to remain focused in a complex and challenging environment. Excellent communication skills. Computer Literacy / SAP experience.
