This hotel is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager. Key Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing sales strategies and partnership to achieve revenue targets. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, particularly in the Government, Events and Conference sectors Identifying and implementation of new business opportunities and partnerships to enhance brand visibility. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction. Monitoring market trends and competitor activities and analysis to stay ahead in the industry. Provide regular reports, and updates to the Cluster Sales Manager. Creating marketing materials for advertisements and digital content. Planning and assisting with Hotel Specific Events and Calendar. Qualifications and Competencies required: Proven experience in sales and business development within hotel industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team. Strong network and understanding of the government market in Durban. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem solving. A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and meet targets. Willingness to travel for quarterly sales visits and workshops.
