Hotel Trainer
Cape Town | On-site
With your excellent understanding of both hotel service standards as well as the learning and development environment, you will join our centralised Learning and Development team as our Trainer, supporting Oude Werf Hotel, Vineyard Hotel as well as our Head Office in Cape Town.
The main function of this role is to facilitate on-the-job training to improve service standards, therefore you will be involved in the development of annual training plans, and implementing those training plans in the business. You will build and maintain a strong relationship with our managers and facilitate on-the-job training, face-to-face and online.
Developing training material to improve service delivery in all operational areas of the hotel and assessing learners will form part of your role.
Along with your Grade 12 Certificate, you have a Hospitality Diploma or Degree with experience in facilitation, front-of-house, Rooms Division and Food and Beverage in a hotel environment. Assessor/Moderator qualification will be advantageous.
You work well within a team, but also independently, with your own transport and willingness to work overtime when required.
A driven individual, you work on your own initiative, and you have outstanding planning skills. Youre results and service orientated with situational awareness.
