Datacentrix Cape Town is looking for a HP SAN Server Engineer with experience in configuring and maintaining HPE SAN and Storage products – 3PAR, MSA, Store Once, Store Virtual. The successful candidate should have significant experience configuring and maintaining HPE ML/DL servers, HPE Blade Systems and Synergy. Requirements:Matric or Grade 12 (must have)IT QualificationMinimum 5 years HPE server and SAN hardware support experience.Experience configuring and maintaining HPE ML/DL servers, HPE BladeSystems and SynergyExperience configuring and maintaining HPE SAN and Storage products – 3PAR, MSA,StoreOnce,StoreVirtualAbility to work individually and as a team memberExcellent communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsValid Drivers Licence and Own reliable vehiclePrimary Role AccountabilitiesProvide onsite or remote access diagnoses and resolution of server, SAN and other hardware issues/faultsProvisioning of storage and servers according to guidelines with attention to detail and documentationInstallation and upgrading of HPE server and SAN hardware and firmware with attention to detail and documentationMaintaining and documenting all work performed as well as strict usage of the call logging systems to ensure open communication with the whole team.Willingness to be available and work after hours when necessary to minimize business downtime and resolve issues within maintenance window periods.Follow process, policies and procedures as laid outComplete proactive reporting on infrastructure See Description See Description
