VACANCY NOTIFICATION Position: Human Resource Administrator Location: Tshipi é Ntle Manganese Mining, Kathu, Northern Cape VACANY STATUS PUBLISHED DATE 08 March 2024 CLOSING DATE 15 March 2024 POSITION DESCRIPTION Human Resource Administrator REPORTING TO Human Resource Manager PATTERSON GRADING B Upper DIRECT REPORTS N/A PURPOSE OF THE JOB Administers and maintains the human resources system for the mine. Manages employee records and files to ensure confidentiality, accessibility and compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. Compiles and submits relevant reports to enable management decision making and supports the execution of human resources processes. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Contributes to cost efficiencies Demonstrates budget and cost awareness and proactively identifies and implements cost saving initiative within the Human Resources function. Identifies and escalates potential risks that could result in increased costs. Adheres to required operating standards to ensure that no penalties or costs are incurred within the Human Resources function Internal Business Process Perspective Human Resources Administration: Administers and maintains the human resources system for the mine including: Capturing and administrating leave. Manages employee records and files to ensure confidentiality, accessibility and compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. Compiles and submits relevant reports to enable management decision making and supports the execution of human resources processes. Provides financial and operational administration and support to the human resources department. People Perspective Personal Development: Manages own performance in terms of agreed KPI's. Identifies gaps in own development and works to master skills and competencies within own role to ensure personal development and performance. Contributes to team: Contributes to the attainment of team and organisational goals by demonstrating team commitment and collaboration. Customer Perspective Internal customer relationship management: Manages customer expectations and requirements to deliver effective and efficient Human Resources services to the business in line with company values and standards. Takes ownership of customer complaints and uses technical knowledge and insight to resolve issues and problems accurately and timeously. Builds and maintains key customer relationships including: Human Resources team; Mine Management. Drives customer centricity and service levels of the organisation through the delivery of Human Resources service excellence. Stakeholder engagement and management: Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to promote the business and service objectives of the company. Ensures that the needs of organisational stakeholders are prioritised and managed including: Colleagues, contractors and employees. Suppliers. Works with management and employees to discuss issues, coordinate activities, or resolve problems. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Grade 12 or NQF level 4 equivalent Diploma in Human Resources Management (NQF Level 6). Computer literate PREFERRED QUALIFICATION Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent (NQF 7). MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED 3 years' experience within a Human Resources Administrator role. Mining experience is preferential. SAGE X3 experience advantageous.
