Our client, a leader in optical lens manufacturing, is looking for an HR Administrator to join their team. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Forming and maintaining employee records and filing systems Updating databases internally, such as sick, family responsibility and maternity leave Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents, i.e. employment contracts, warnings, notices and recruitment Assisting in reviewing company policies and legal compliance Communicating with external partners as and when required Reporting regularly on HR metrics, such as company turnover Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries Helping with various arrangements internally, from travel to processing expenses and organizing employee engagement events Work closely with Payroll Administrator All HR related administration tasks EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 Degree/Diploma, in Human Resources preferred EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: At least 2 – 3 years' experience as a HR administrator or HR Administrator's Assistant Understanding various HR software systems, like ESS, HRIS, etc. Computer literate with programmes such as word, excel, power point, etc. Good understanding of labour laws and up to date with current legislation Organised and able to prioritise, this is crucial Good communicative and relationship building skills, as you will work with various people across the whole business
