HR Business Partner/ HR Information System Specialist - Johannesburg

A global medical company has a vacancy for an HR Business Partner/HR Information System Specialist. Job Purpose: The HRBP will be oversee all aspects of the human resources function and will ensure the implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices. A Key Function for this role will be to manage and administer the SuccessFactors Information System for the Group in Southern Africa and provide support to the HR team, Business Managers and Employees. The HRBP will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and utilization of SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Performance Management, Learning Management, and Recruiting. Key Responsibilities: SuccessFactors System Implementation Administration: Collaborate with the Shared Service Center, global stakeholders, Local/Regional HR team and IT department to plan and execute projects. Manage, maintain and administer the SuccessFactors HR Information System , including user access, security, and system configurations. Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the system by regularly auditing and updating employee records. Conduct testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any system issues or bugs. Serves as a subject matter expert when it comes to the administration features for SAP Success Factors. User Support and Training: Provide end-user support and training on SuccessFactors modules, including troubleshooting issues and answering user inquiries. Data Management and Reporting: Generate and analyze HR data and reports using SuccessFactors reporting tools. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the HR function. Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline HR processes and enhance system efficiency. General HR Assist with development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the organization's overall goals and objectives. Collaborate with Management to align HR initiatives with the organization's strategic direction. Employee Relations: Manage employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and promote a positive and inclusive work environment. Talent Acquisition and Management: Develop and implement effective recruitment and selection strategies to attract and retain top talent. Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development. HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and HR policies. Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation and industry best practices. HR Analytics and Reporting: Develop and analyze HR metrics and reports to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Requirements Degree / Diploma in Human Resources Minimum of 4 years’ experience in SAP SuccessFactors or similar HR Information System. Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an HR Generalist. Have a proven track record in successfully delivering large, multi-module SuccessFactors projects Advanced Excel Skills. Strong knowledge and experience in implementing and supporting SuccessFactors modules. Familiarity with SuccessFactors best practices and industry trends. Solid understanding of HR processes, policies, and regulations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze HR data. Strong problem-solving skills. Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements. Keen attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and system integrity. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrated commitment to ethical and professional conduct.
