Duties: InvesTong Group requires a seasoned HR Cosultant to handle day-to-day duties as an HR duties which will include: Manage all core HR departmental areas, including payroll, employee relations, HR admin, learning and development (Skills development), internal recruitment, employee engagement, and maintaining and implementing HR systems, Building HR strategies, Performance management, Forming company culture, Change management, People management.
▪ Drive performance strategies and implementation ▪ Develop, update, and implement all HR policies and procedures. ▪ Build an HR department. ▪ Represent the Company at the CCMA ▪ Responsible for recruitment of all branch staff ▪ Compilation of HR Management Information ▪ Interface with the payroll to collect monthly report information and manage holistic payroll process accurately. ▪ Develop an IR framework for the Group ▪ Management of Union Relations ▪ Union/Bargaining counsel consultations and negotiations ▪ Negotiating wage agreements ▪ Facilitation of recognition agreements ▪ Negotiating terms and conditions of employment ▪ Group Industrial action + IR Risk management ▪ Proactive and on-going Stakeholder relations with relevant Unions and/or related bodies▪ Guide and support HR and Management on technical IR matters ▪ Custodian of Group IR policies ▪ Ensure the Company is adequately represented at CCMA. ▪ Operationalize the Groups HR strategy. ▪ Budget & Cost Management. Set salary scales and allowances to standardize salaries across the Group. Drive HR-related cost savings and manage HR budgets as set by executive management and working in conjunction with the Head of Finance ▪ Implement the HR operational plans and people management practice. ▪ Talent Management ▪ Remuneration management ▪ Change Management ▪ HR Strategies and performance management of staff ▪ HR analytics & Reporting i.e. WSP, ATR & EE ▪ Drive Employee Value Proposition ▪ Employee Engagement & wellness ▪ Convene/Set up appropriate employee forums. ▪ Build structures within HR. ▪ Proactively manage Human Capital Risk ▪ Support safety initiatives ▪ Ensure statutory compliance. ▪ Create and manage staff rewards program. ▪ Manage recruitment process of new staff internally to the organization ▪ Drive the implementation of company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Affiliation with HR professional bodies (advantageous) Minimum 8 years experience in Human Resources Management at a senior management levelMinimum 5 years IR experience at a senior level preferably in the construction industry Proven experience in dealing with Unions as a key stakeholder Experience with CCMA processes up to and including arbitration level in relevant country; Experience working in an organisation with multiple companies Proven record in formulating HR strategies Relevant degree (HR, ER, Industrial Psychology etc.)
