The principal purpose of this position is to participate in the recruitment and training of all personnel. This role has a visible presence with employees which allows for them to ask questions and be available for Human Resource needs. In this role, you may have to deal with some situations that will require dealing with highly emotional issues and conflict resolution. This position is responsible for providing services to a rapidly growing work force. You will have to make timely and effective decisions, balancing analysis with decisiveness. This position will be the reference source for all in the company regarding compliance with employment, benefits, labour laws and HR regulations. This position will manage the recruitment and selection process from start to end for junior positions and will deliver on short and long-term recruitment strategies in alignment with the business needs. Conducts new employee orientations and administers pre-employment documents. Maintains employee records, reports and logs pertaining to applicant flow process. Capturing of payroll. In this role you will perform a professional level of human resources work and carry out responsibilities to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflects Kemin’s business objectives. You will further implement and execute policies, processes, and offerings for training and talent development. Typical tasks may include planning, organizing and capturing of training and management development programs to support the organization's initiatives. Other Functions: Work with other departments. Assists in exit interview process. Assists in organizational training and development efforts. Run reports to track eligibility dates of employees. Undergraduate/Bachelor Degree in Industrial Psychology or Human Resource Management. 5 years relevant experience in the same position. Good communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. Good organizational skills. Ability to keep information confidential. Ability to interact with all levels of personnel. A high degree of personal motivation. A desire to make an immediate contribution and a distinct sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines. Strong counselling skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization to motivate and influence others. Be passionate and emotionally involved in Kemin’s objective to provide quality Human Resources services. Multi-lingual in English and Afrikaans (read, write and speak). Ability to work individually.
