Description of Duties We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our team and implement and monitor various human resources programs. The individual must have a broad knowledge of human resource functions, from hiring to onboarding and evaluation as well as HR policies and procedures, including Industrial Relations, Health & Safety, Skills Development and Employment Equity. This position is ideal for an individual with a passion for HR, who are familiar with labour law and who wants to build a career in a growing, national company. The position will include a wide range of HR tasks, like organising training, administering leave and compiling HR policies. You will be responsible to ensure that all employee records are up-to-date and facilitate any HR related queries. The goal is to ensure that the HR departments operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organisation as a whole. Day-to-day administrative duties within the HR department Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes. Co-ordination of induction and orientation programmes. Plan and implement training of staff, supervisors or managers, as indicated by the Training Plan, or as requested from time to time. Collates information for Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports. Monitor the Training Plan for regionally and ensure that all training indicated is implemented. Administer leave. Draft HR policies and contracts. Promote HR programs and internal training. Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies. Monitor and assist management with the performance management process. Gather and analyse HR data and report the statistics to senior management on a monthly basis. Organise quarterly and annual performance reviews. Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form. Manage and administer employment contract management. Ensure compliance with labour regulations. Qualifications Salary Market Related
