Role: HR Manager
Location: Germiston
Qualifications:- A bachelors degree in human resources
- Labour Relations, organizational development, business or related area; relevant work experience may be a substitute
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
- Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning
Role & Responsibilities:- Recruitment and Selection
- Onboarding and managing probation periods
- Employment contracts and statutory employment documentation collation
- Creating and maintaining employee files
- Payroll collation (leave, overtime, subsistence, salary changes, provident fund recon etc.) and SARS Easy Filing bi-annually
- Disciplinaries
- Assisting branches with HR matters
- Counselling and conflict resolution
- Does the minutes for director and management meetings
- High level of integrity and confidentiality is involved here
- Yearly Employment Equity submissions
- Yearly Workplace Skills and Annual Training Report submissions
- Yearly Rate of Earnings submission for Workmans compensation
- Collate and manage injuries on duty
- Policy writing
- Health and Safety administration
- Employee training and development liaison/administrator
- Deals with the Union (Industrial relations) from time to time
Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 08h00-17h00
