Offering advice and guidance to employees, supervisors and Management which includes but is not limited to HR, Employee Relations and HRD-related matters. Serving as a link between Management and employees. Advising managers on legal requirements, such as employment equity, the Labour Relations Act, basic conditions of employment and skills development. Ensuring adherence to and effective implementation of company policies and procedures. Ensuring the implementation of fundamental HR practices such as recruitment, training and development, developing job specifications/profiles, performance management and succession planning. Promoting sound employee relations and consultation with unions. Managing all administrative functions. Analysing the performance of the Human Resource function and initiating continuous improvement initiatives in line with best practices. Compiling information and reports related to projects and programmes of the HR Department. Managing services like the canteen, change rooms, employee transport, etc. Desired Experience & Qualification NQF 7 qualification in Human Resources or related field. Minimum of 8 Years' experience in a Human Resources management on a Managerial level. Computer literacy (MS-Office, Email and Internet) and report writing. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels of the organisation. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills. Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable being a change agent. Advanced knowledge of remuneration, employee benefit best practices and wage negotiation. Advance knowledge of skills development legislation and processes Ability to influence leaders at all levels to support change management initiatives
