Our client is seeking a strategic and dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead their HR operations at the bustling Port Elizabeth Site. This role is pivotal in driving HR initiatives that align with the company's ambitious goals and ensuring compliance with South African Labour Legislation. If you're passionate about shaping the workforce of a global powerhouse and ready to take on a challenge that marries strategy with operational excellence, this opportunity is calling your name Spearhead the development and execution of an HR strategy that supports the achievement of site operational objectives. Lead and inspire a team of HR professionals, fostering an environment of growth and performance. Collaborate with European and North American counterparts to align and implement HR initiatives. Champion employee engagement, labor relations, and talent management to cultivate a high-performance culture. Navigate complex labor legislation with finesse, acting as the primary negotiator with unions and employee representatives. Oversee HR administrative functions, ensuring seamless onboarding, offboarding, and benefits management. A tertiary qualification in HR or Business Administration. At least 8-10 years of HR experience, preferably in the Automotive or Manufacturing sector within a unionized environment. A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, demonstrating a track record of managing teams effectively. In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation including the Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and Labour Relations Act. Proficiency in MIBCO Bargaining Council Agreements. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and leadership skills coupled with advanced conflict resolution and negotiation capabilities. Proficient in English, with isiXhosa being advantageous. Strong project management skills and experience with relevant HR systems.
