Your time is now to be your exceptional best at Old Mutual This role is accountable for turning data into actionable insights, providing the Human Capital team with metrics and information that drives the people agenda. The incumbent utilises analytical skills, tools and platforms to source and present data enabling an environment of data-based decision making. Source, scrub and analyse data as it pertains to Human Capital and Business needs. Build dashboards and reports for utilisation to resolve people related queries. Meet with internal stakeholder, understand their requirements and source/craft reports/analysis to address stakeholder needs. Coordinate and action data extractions integrating data sets across systems and applications. Automate reports and perform data quality checks and validates results. Develop reports to support ad-hoc and regular people requirements. Responsible for creating end-to-end solutions which includes problem definition, data acquisition, data exploration and visualization. Liaise with relevant teams across the organisation, sourcing and mining information. Generate and test hypotheses and provides actionable and measurable insights. Present final results to stakeholders, condensing information making it easier to understand. Provide coaching, training and upskilling as required. Proactively seeks new knowledge in data analytics and visualisation. Experience 4-7 years experience in Human Capital MIS or data analytics. 3-5 years experience in defining and reporting on metrics and sourcing data. 1-2 years experience in defining system requirements in alignment with Human Capital operational needs. Minimum 4 years extensive Excel experience a prerequisite. An ability to engage stakeholders across all levels within the organisation. Detailed orientated with the ability to see bigger picture and drive initiatives to gain insights. Strong relationship management experience. Advantageous - Work Day experience and knowledge. Advantageous VBA and BI skill set. Skills Education Bachelors Degree (B) (Required) Closing Date 11 June 2021
