Job description/responsibilities: Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance. Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department. Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention. Provide HR policy guidance. Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning. Identify training needs for teams and individuals. Evaluate training programs. Suggest new HR strategies. Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Diploma or any higher qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in a Human Resources related role. Skills: Must have exceptional computer literacy. Extensive union management experience Strong in IR/ER. Excellent in interpersonal relationships and stakeholder management. Exposure to budgets an added advantage. CCMA/Any Bargaining Council Experience (Conciliation/Arbitrations). Excellent people management skills. Analytical and goal oriented. Demonstrable experience with HR metrics. Thorough knowledge of labour legislation. Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
