Develop, deliver and maintain a HR department strategy that meets the needs of all stakeholder groups. Customer Specific Requirement Member of the Provident Fund Management Committee. Plan, organise and direct HR programs and activities in a manner that promotes an atmosphere of communication and involvement. Manage the quality, delivery, cost and responsiveness of the HR department. Development and maintenance of Company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Industrial Legislation. Responsible for the adherence of all BOS and other HR related legal procedures. Meet profit plan objectives. Ensure that the Company complies with all labour related legislation. Assure equitable salary and wage administration. Ensure the Company skills programme and equity plan are achieved per set sectoral targets set in EEA. . Champion the performance management system within the plant. Improve the competitive position and performance of the plant through people, team work and continuous improvement. Manage and keeping HR Information systems updated. Approve and sign off VIP pay roll variance reports. Responsible for SOX compliance in HR. Managing HR activities that are needed from other Managers to complete, to enable HR Team to excecute VIP payroll activities. Manage training and development activities in the Plant. Qualifications and Experience: B.Comm in Human Resource Management or equivalant. Completed Labor Retalions module would be an advantage. Minimum of 5 years Automotive experience and further experience in a management position. Core skills & abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Critical thinking ( problem solving and Continuous Improvement ) Planning and organising (Ownership and commitment) Team work and leadership. (Running day-to-day HR and interlinked departmental bussiness) Sound Industrial Relations skills Emotional Intelegent Empathy and good listener Payroll management Quick grasping of various new systems Time management in fast changing environment (JIT).
