We are looking for a skilled Human Resource Officer who will be responsible for all Human Resource related practices including but not limited to recruitment and selection, organizational support and development. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you'll contribute to making the company a better place to work. Compile and manage a prospective clients' database Cold call and email prospective clients, soliciting for business Manage and develop client relationships Discuss and manage terms and conditions of business with clients Take briefs from clients Assist in developing recruitment adverts for vacancies and select the appropriate media for specific positions Source candidates from various career portals and social networking sites Match candidate's skills and experience to specs or job requirements Manage screening of candidate pool Assist preparing professional CVs for referral to clients Set up and assist in conducting preliminary competency based interviews for clients Assist with preliminary screening of candidates Assist in prepping candidates for client interviews i.e thoroughly briefing them on job, company culture, policies, procedures, etc. Assist in performing all required background checks on candidates i.e. employment, qualifications, credit and criminal checks Assist with managing successful candidates during their notice period and probationary period Regret unsuccessful candidates Assist in developing a talent pipeline by creating and maintaining a database of candidates of the highest calibre Maintain lasting relationships with talent pipeline Assist with drafting of training proposals Assist with developing course outlines for training programmes Assist with developing training material for various training programmes Assist with preparing power point slides for the programmes Develop participant workbooks Assist with orientation and on-boarding of new hires by providing the new employees with information packs Assist with review and compilation of company policies Document and track HR actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records as needed At least 2 years experience in a Human Resource or similar position Experience in performance management and organizational development would be advantageous Knowledge of HR functions (pay benefits, recruitment, training and development) Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures Strong ethics, integrity and reliability R11 000 - R15 000 per month
