CohnReznick currently has an exciting career opportunity for a Human Resources Director to join our People & Culture Team. The Human Resources Director is responsible for leading and directing the Human Resources function for our Mid-Atlantic region which encompasses eight offices (Baltimore, Bethesda, Tysons, VA, Charlotte, NC, Miami, Sunrise, Boca Raton, and Jupiter, FL) and leads a team of People & Culture talent professionals (HR Business Partners). This role reports into the Chief People Officer and is a member of the People & Culture senior leadership team. This is a hybrid position that can be based in any of our Mid-Atlantic region offices; Up to 25 percent travel may be required. Travel is defined as time spent at offices beyond Director's primary office. YOUR ROLE. The Regional Human Resources Director is the strategic point of contact for local and regional business leadership. S/he partners with the Regional Managing Partner and Office Managing Partners to create and implement progressive HR initiatives across the region as part of the overall People & Culture strategy and programs. S/he teams with the Centers of Expertise (Talent Management, Resource Management, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, etc.) to provide industry/client insights and lead the effective rollout of HR programs such as performance management and succession planning. S/he steers coaches, people managers and employees to optimize the integration and success of business and people strategies and operations. The Regional Human Resources Director will champion a culture that recognizes and upholds the Firm's mission, purpose and vision, and code of conduct; is recognized for integrity in every aspect of their role. Primary responsibilities of the role are outlined below: Support the development of a People Strategy aligned to the needs of the business across offices and teams within the region. Successfully collaborate with cross-functional teams within People & Culture, across practice management departments, as well as client service teams. Effectively lead and manage a team of talent advisory HR professionals (HRBPs). Partner with Resource Management team to deploy talent to the business. Conduct workforce planning and analysis to best advise the business on workforce solutions options and recommendations. Serve as a change agent, planning and deploying change management strategies, communications, and training in support of organizational change and growth. Engage the business in effective succession planning, leadership development program participation, and organizational effectiveness reviews. Create scalable, progressive programs related to the engagement and development of our talent. Conduct organization/talent analysis and external benchmarking to inform our decisions and drive performance. Partner across business units and centers of expertise to deliver M&A due diligence and integration activities. Drive a culture of DEIB across the talent life cycle. Lead annual performance reviews and compensation planning process with leaders. Resolve escalated employee relations issues that require senior level oversight. YOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in human resources or business-related field. Minimum 10 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including experience in partnering with a business leader as senior HR practitioner. In depth knowledge of all Federal, State, and Local employment laws. Extensive understanding of current Human Resources strategic issues and challenges. Ability to maintain confidentiality and build, establish and maintain trust and credibility. Ability to travel to multiple office locations within the region as needed. Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both in written communications and verbal presentation. Ability and desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and firm. Experience leading and managing a team. Significant talent management experience, with a proven record of improving business performance through execution of human resource strategies. Experience coaching, giving consultative advice and challenging senior leaders. Up to 25 percent travel may be required. The following credentials would be a plus: Master's degree in HR, Organizational Design or an MBA. HRCI SPHR or SHRM-SCP designation. HR experience in professional services industry. UltiPro, Cornerstone, Adaptive and RedCarpet systems experience. WHY COHNREZNICK?
