Description REQUIREMENTS South African citizen, currently residing in Gqeberha or willing to relocate Grade 12 National Diploma in Human Resources, Labour Law, and Industrial Psychology 5 years of generalist experience 3 years of leadership experience 3 years in a highly unionised environment Strong experience in: MIBCO processes and procedures Compensation and benefits Change management Labour dispute resolution including CCMA/ Bargaining Council South African Labour Law and Legislative Frameworks Recruitment and selection Talent management ESSENTIAL SKILLS Conflict management Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation Able to effectively lead and direct a team Able to make sound decisions SAP system Negotiation skills Ability to influence and drive change Budgeting skills Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) RESPONSIBILITIES Drive Human Resources business by partnering with the Operations Manager and the plant to achieve business objectives Provide HR direction and support to the site management team and line management by advising on all HR-related matters in line with legislation and best practice Drive effective Employment Equity and BBBEE practices in line with legislative requirements and partner with key stakeholders to achieve outcomes Continually evaluate and understand critical skills gaps and identify training solutions to support the site business plan Manage necessary monitoring and reporting processes such as Performance Management, BBBEE, WS/ ATR and Employment Equity and to escalate non-compliance for remedial action Enable sound labour relations through effective communication and relationship building with key stakeholders Proactively drive and contribute to the development of a talent pipeline through effective development, success planning and recruitment practices Effectively manage and monitor HR site budget, highlight variances and communicate accordingly Ensure staff are effectively managed and held accountable through performance and disciplinary procedures, and that staff are developed and mentored through the Talent Management and IDP processes Ensure data integrity of HR information, and safeguard all employee personal data to ensure continued employee trust, confidence and loyalty towards the business Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of HR to support efficiency, sound customer relations and optimum service delivery to the Company Provide support to the Corporate HR team to ensure that goals and strategic plans are achieved through effective teamwork Drive effective relationship management with colleagues, peers and management to ensure that professionalism is maintained and delivery in line with commitments is managed Apply Now
