HVAC-R Technician - - Johannesburg

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC-R systems including heating units, air conditioning systems, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment.
Conduct routine inspections to identify and address issues proactively, ensuring optimal system performance.
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques.
Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations for system upgrades or replacements.
Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations when handling hazardous materials.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely assistance.

Qualifications:

Trade Certificate in HVAC-R or related field.
Valid driver's license.
SAQCC Gas Certification preferred.

Extras:

Knowledge of chillers and VRF systems.
Experience in the healthcare environment.
