East London Area – Eastern Cape: Our client seeks to employ a highly qualified and experienced individual in the field of hydroponic agriculture. Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's/Master's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field. 5 years of hands-on experience in hydroponic agriculture. Proven track record of successful hydroponic projects. SKILLS REQUIRED In-depth knowledge of coco coir hydroponic system. Experience in optimizing plant growth parameters such as nutrient solutions, temperature, humidity, and control of pest and disease. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hydroponic systems. Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making. Leadership qualities – lead a team of junior growers Able to manage approximately 100 production staff members RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Overseeing the development and management of hydroponic cultivation projects. Collaborating with the team to implement and optimize hydroponic growing practices. Conducting research to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
