We are seeking a skilled Technical IFRS 17 Specialist to join our team and play a key role in implementing and ensuring compliance with this important accounting standard. Job & Company Description:As a Technical IFRS 17 Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting the requirements of IFRS 17 and providing technical guidance to ensure accurate financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of IFRS 17 on our financial statements and processes, as well as to develop and implement solutions to address any challenges.Other duties include: Interpret and apply the requirements of IFRS 17 to insurance contracts and financial reporting. Collaborate with various teams, including finance, actuarial, and IT, to gather data and assess the impact of IFRS 17 on our systems and processes. Develop and implement methodologies for measuring insurance contract liabilities, revenue recognition, and financial statement presentation in accordance with IFRS 17. Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex accounting issues related to IFRS 17. Stay up-to-date with developments in IFRS 17 and other relevant accounting standards.
