They must also maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Communicating with other healthcare professionals: ILS practitioners must be able to work as part of a healthcare team, communicating with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric). Intermediate Life Support (ILS) certified HPCSA guidelines and scope of practice. Must have a valid driver's license. A valid Professional Driving Permit. Able to work shifts. Reliable transport, especially outside of normal working hours when working shifts. 1 - 2 years experience in an EMS environment.
