SEA IMPORT & EXPORT CONTROLLER & INVOICING – Modderfontein, East Rand CargoWise Experience is Essential Qualifications / Experience / Requirements Grade 12. 3-5 Years experience as an Import & Export Controller with freight forwarding company Must have CargoWise experience Must have their own vehicle Responsibilities: Placing and receiving orders either from the client or from supplier Once order is received from the client, forward to POL with full contact details of the supplier and cargo that needs to be collected. Forward POL orders to the consignee in SA for confirmation on shipping Arrange for picking up of the cargo and ask for vessel details, ETA, ETD dates. Follow up on order weekly Registering of new shipments on internal operational system and ensuring all procedures are carried out in closing files. Ensuring that all necessary processes are carried out with regard to obtaining Customs clearance and transport documentation, including original bills of lading where necessary. Lodging of documents with relevant parties and ensuring timeous deliveries to clients Ensuring files are invoiced and documents are sent out to clients prior to them receiving cargo and containers Resolving credit operations/ WIPS and Accruals. Sending out status reports as per the clients SLA. Follow up on delivery to customers and ensure file POD date is entered Acquiring PODs on both cargo and documentation. Attending to internal and external clients' needs, complaints and problems on the phone, face-to-face and in writing, under both friendly and acrimonious circumstances Obtaining all clearance/storage/delivery charges for the billing process Operational performance and productivity against pre-determined standards and targets ONLY APPLICANTS THAT MEET THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED SALARY OFFERED TO SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL DEPEND ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Applicants who have not been contacted within 14 days should consider their applications as having been unsuccessful
