Purpose : The company requires the services of a highly competent and experienced Inbound Supply Manager for the Supply Chain Department Key Job Outputs : Direct & Indirect Procurement : Procuring direct and indirect materials required to meet demand Drawing up of annual budgets Management of Master Data on ERP systems for procurement and warehousing Maintain strong and healthy business partnerships with key vendors Draft and manage supplier agreements as and where required within the business in consultation with legal department and any other stakeholders Manage vendor qualification process to ensure GMP compliance Identify risk of strategic supply and mitigate with alternative sourcing or other initiatives Manage BBBEE compliance in line with targets set Cost Controls : Manage spend in line with budgets Identify cost saving initiatives and project manage these opportunities Manage inventory levels in line with budgets Warehouse Management : Manage inbound supply processes at receiving stores Manage supply to production and other service departments Ensure GMP and OHSE compliance within all warehouse areas Core Competencies : Good leadership, interpersonal and organisational skills Good project management skills (hands on) Systems orientated and meticulous attention to detail Must be able to work under pressure and part of a team or independent Track record of integrity and honesty Good communication (written and verbal) across the organisation Ability to negotiate effectively with strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities Assertive and confident at all levels Ability to travel, internationally in support of the business needs Qualifications: B.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Degree in Operations Management / Supply Chain or similar Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain and/or procurement (local & international) in a leadership role Experience in Procurement processes including price negotiations, service agreements and inventory management of raw materials Warehouse experience will be advantageous Salary: Market related Should you not hear from us within 2 weeks, kindly consider your application as unsuccessful.
