A company in Ottery, Cape Town is looking for an Industrial Design Intern. This is a 6 months Fixed Term role. Desired Experience & Qualification Diploma or degree in Product Design /Industrial Design. a Strong foundation in design principles and skills, such as sketching, drawing, 3D modeling, and prototyping. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong work ethic and focus on quality of work. Eager to learn and contribute to the team, demonstrating proactivity. Ability to identify design problems, research and analyze them, and develop creative solutions. Ability to innovate. Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with others. Strong resilience, grit, and a drive to deliver in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Provide the NPD team support by executing practical Industrial design tasks. Very small design projects, like modifications to test equipment. Graphic design work for products. Generate graphics for presentations. Routine tasks supporting testing programmes.
