RPO Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading packaging company in Cape Town to find a talented and experienced Industrial Designer. As an Industrial Designer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative packaging solutions that meet clients' needs and align with industry trends. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and creative team and contribute to the success of the company's packaging projects. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand packaging requirements Conduct research and analysis on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products Create and develop packaging designs, including concept sketches, 3D models, and CAD drawings Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability of packaging designs Generate prototypes and conduct product testing to evaluate functionality and usability Ensure packaging designs meet regulatory requirements and quality standards Participate in design reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies and materials into packaging designs Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Designer, preferably in the packaging industry Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities Excellent knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and packaging design principles Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong communication and presentation skills Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines Benefits Salary negotiable Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
