Industrial Engineer - Gauteng

Brief description of the vacancy: Industrial Engineers play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects. They are accountable for the entire project scope, project team, resources, and the success or failure of the project. Experience required: 2 -5 years of project management and related experience. Qualifications required: Relevant Degree/Diploma or Equivalent Computer Skills required: • OEM Knowledge • Mietrak • Other Related Software Programs • MS Office Required Skills: • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. • Ensure that all projects are delivered ontime, within scope and within budget. • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. • Ensure resource availability and allocation. • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. • Report and escalate to management as needed. • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. • Perform risk management to minimize project risks. • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project. • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels. • Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals and long-term goals STAFF Management • Supervise the activities of the team. • Participate in recruitment, selection and appointment of staff. • Issue work assignments and communicate performance standards. • Conduct performance appraisals to monitor performance. • Identify training and development needs of staff. • Motivate staff. • Structure succession planning. • Monitor and control adherence to disciplinary codes. • Maintaining high integrity of works instructions, policies and procedures. • Promote a positive industrial relations • Knowledge of the BCOE, LRA, OHSA and other Finance • Provide financial and strategic leadership which ensures sustainable stakeholders value creation. • Budget process effectively managed and aligned with targets for Primary Production. • Optimized financial processes, systems across the Primary Production function. • Optimized Stock management process in primary production. https://protool.gumtree.co.za/external-link-browser.html?urlaHR0cHM6Ly9lbi16YS53aGF0am9icy5jb20vY29vcG9iX19jcGxfX18yMzIzXzg5MjRfXzQ5Nz91dG1fc291cmNlPWd1bXRyZWUmdXRtX21lZGl1bT1mZWVkJmtleXdvcmQ9&jid1791403&xid2323_8924 Apply Now
