1 .IR Responsible for all client and company delegated Industrial Relations Responsible for all industrial / employee relations matters within the company of a company. Initiate and chair disciplinary hearings Attend and handle CCMA Conciliation and Arbitration cases Bargaining council conciliation and arbitration representation Lead and manage the integration of recognition & substantive agreements and conditions of employment in line with business strategy Liaise, co-ordinate and align business objectives with employees and management across departments Consult Client role players and Company Supervisors, Ops Co-Ordinator's, and Senior Staff drafting of chargers and issuing of warnings. Provide IR related input and recommendations to Management and Operations (Meetings and email communication) Ensure that all relevant legislative requirements are adhered to in order to minimize unnecessary risk for the business Monitor legal compliance with regards to labour legislation Assist and advise line management in all aspects of labour relations and to timeously assist with queries to support sound employee relations Keep records of all disciplinary issues and outcomes – report to HR Business Partner and Directors on a monthly basis – identify weaknesses. IR and HR consulting Keep records, filling and maintaining of disciplinary records for disciplinary issues, warnings, hearings, and outcomes Develop and prepare and submit daily/weekly reports i.e., time keeping, absenteeism, IR matters, leave and overall employee incident related issues Escalate non-compliance and provide input to remedy where appropriate 2. Human Resources Development and implementation of company policies and procedures Ensure high level of accuracy and integrity of HR information thereby ensuring that ethical work, professionalism and leadership behaviour is demonstrated Develop IR and HR related reports Ensure all HR /IR processes and practices are adhered to and practiced in compliance to the relevant labour laws Collate information such as: performance appraisals, staff suggestions, disciplinary issue policy and procedures HR policy development and setup for new and existing clients Ensure all HR and company compliances are adhered to within the company 3. Business Development and Sales Monthly client sales targets – obtaining new clients monthly as per target requirement KPI Continually engage with company staff nationally through information sharing, leads, opportunities and marketing strategies Research and analyse market opportunities. Map potential customers and competitors. Assist with implementation of procedures for E-Marketing, Internet advertising and Website maintenance and marketing, plus all other associated forms of sales and marketing - for HR /IR products 4. Training and Development Identify education and training needs and implement plans to achieve the relevant requirements as dictated by the position. Educate and train all Site Supervisors and Ops CP-Ordinator's on HR and IR matters, procedures and policies. Recommend employee relation practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation Educate clients where applicable – close loopholes in client systems 5. Staff Engagement Act as a point of contact to build influential management and employee relationships. Establish and initiate employee programmes– i.e. Awards and Employee Recognition Programmes Engage with Employee Representative Committee - Provide feedback and input towards solutions on matters raised by representatives. Engage with Trade Unions monthly in order to build relationships and address any labour-related issues. 6.Administration Monitoring, collection, compilation, and distribution of completed task driven information on behalf of the: HR Business Partner and relevant client servicing departments pertaining to external clients Administering the HR/IR functions of disciplinary, grievances and dismissal processes. Ensures all candidate, employee and client information up to date and files accordingly. File and Management of Confidential records Check and verify employee contracts and make sure all relevant fields are completed and required supporting documents are attached Collate files and witness prep for CCMA Monitor and diarise certificate renewals relevant to HR: SEIFSA – APSO – COFESA- PLACEMENT PORTALS – WEB SITE – LABOUR BROKER DIVISION OF THE CEA – DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR: Skills development act – MIBCO – RFBCI – MEIBC – Other. Matric IR or Labour law related degree or diploma 3-5 years IR or Labour law related experience Payroll system experience beneficial Driver's License and own car Apply Now
