Dotcloud is looking for a 1st Line Support Consultant to join our team. You will be responsible for servicing our clients both remotely and/or on-site as required in the Johannesburg and Pretoria areas. This position requires a good understanding of technical troubleshooting, set-up and implementation of desktops, routers and firewalls. As a Support Consultant, you will need good communication skills between both your clients and co-workers. You will need to be presentable and professional, with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Dotcloud is looking to employ a hardworking go-getter with a great work ethic, teachable attitude and excellent teamwork. Reports To: HelpDesk Manager & Line Manager The key responsibilities of the role include but are not exclusive to: Network configuration and troubleshooting Ensuring that existing clients have IT infrastructure that is correctly maintained to both Dotcloud's and the client's standards Maintaining positive business relationships with Dotcloud's clients Visiting clients on-site to assist with any technical support requirements Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required: 1-3 years' experience in the following areas – Microsoft Office365 Networking Firewalls Operating Systems (Windows Server ) Hardware (Server & Desktop) A & N Other Minimum Requirements: Presentable, approachable and well-articulated Proficient in both English and Afrikaans Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude Excellent written and verbal communications skills ± R15k depending on experience, with commission-based incentives.
