The Infrastructure Systems Engineer's role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Infrastructure Systems Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT infrastructure systems investments. The Infrastructure Systems Engineer is a hands-on technical role that requires engineering design, architecture and support for enterprise networks, and infrastructure compute systems. The engineer must be proficient in design and support networking systems (MPLS, routing, firewalls, switches and routers) and compute (servers, Nutanix, VMWare, operatings systems and applications). Qualifications & Experience Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Networking Skills & Qualifications - CCIE, CCNA, Network, COMPTIA Compute SKills & Qualifications - A, MCSE, Nutanix, VMWare, Acropolis, VEEAM, RUBRIK Skill & Competencies Maintain and control computer networks and related computing environments, as well as software, hardware, and configurations. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software, hardware, and other network and system problems. Design and implement effective solutions to improve the sustainability of modern surroundings. Perform disaster recovery operations and record backups when required. Monitor overall network performance to decide if changes need to be made. Configure routing and switching equipment.
