The successful candidate will join the Technology Infrastructure Services: Workplace Services team. The Workplace Team is responsible for the delivery of technology and support services to end users and application owners, which enable the organization to provide products and services to clients that participate in financial services. The successful candidate will be required to build and run the best IT Infrastructure, as well as delivering and maintaining products and services to Capitec end-users, using industry leading technologies. If you are looking for a rewarding role, you should apply today Purpose Statement Build and run the best IT Infrastructure, responsible for delivering and maintaining products and services to Capitec end-users, using industry leading technologies. Ensure products and services are optimal, efficient, deployed at speed, scalable, cost effective, high performing and innovative in nature. Experience MINIMUM: 5 years ICT experience in the end-user computing environment 3 years design and implementation of desktop hardware, software and management systems servicing the end-user computing environment in the enterprise. 3 years in desktop infrastructure maintenance using systems such as: System Centre Configuration, Unified Endpoint Management, BitLocker, and Microsoft cloud-based services. Qualifications (Minimum) A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Information Technology - Computer Science Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Information Technology - Computer Science Knowledge MINIMUM: Microsoft Windows Microsoft Exchange Microsoft SCCM Microsoft inTune Microsoft Azure IDEAL: Currently relevant industry cloud solution technologies (e.g. Office 365, Azure) Video, Voice and Collaboration services (Polycom, Cisco, Skype / Teams) Virtual Desktop Technologies (VDI, Citrix, VMWARE) Skills Communications Skills Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) Analytical Skills Problem solving skills Attention to Detail Conditions of Employment Clear criminal and credit record Capitec is committed to diversity, applications to this position will strictly be considered in support of our employment equity goals.
