An opportunity exists for an Instrument Technician reporting to the Instrumentation Engineer and will be based at ERGO. The position exists to provide instrumentation maintenance/modifications to the plant in order to ensure that production, efficiency SHEQ and legal requirements are met The title is Instrumentation Technician. This single-position class performs specialized technical work in maintaining hardware and software related to various instrumentation, control systems, and OT-related networks. Responsibilities include performing a routine to complex process controls, instrumentation, maintenance, OT networking, and repair operations in the mine. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 5 Years relevant experience in the Mining ,Chemical or Manufacturing. National Diploma Instrumentation/ T3/S4 Instrumentation / Relevant Trade Test Certificate Additional Requirements Reside within a 30 km radius of the Ergo Operations Perform standby duties,admin duties(costing,meetings) Pension and Medical Aid Subsidy
