Job Title: Instrument Technician - Mining Industry Location: Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) RPO Recruitment's client is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join their team in the mining industry in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of instruments and control systems used in mining operations. Responsibilities: Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair instrumentation and control systems in a mining environment. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in instruments and control systems to ensure continuous operation of mining equipment. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance of instruments. Assist with the commissioning of new equipment and systems, ensuring they are installed and functioning correctly. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve efficiency and reliability of instrumentation and control systems. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Essential Requirements: Trade test certificate in Instrumentation. Relevant diploma or N certificate Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in the mining industry. Knowledge of various types of instruments and control systems used in mining operations. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work under pressure and in challenging conditions. Fluency in French and English is preferred.
