RPO Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our client's team in the Mining industry. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of instruments and control systems used in the mining industry. Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instruments and control systems used in mining operations. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation and control systems. Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty instruments and components. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify and resolve technical problems. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while performing all job tasks. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the mining industry. Trade qualification in Instrumentation or relevant field. Knowledge of various types of instruments used in mining operations. Experience in calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of instruments. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Availability to work in a mining environment and comply with safety regulations.
