Excellent opportunity for a highly experienced EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT : Short Term Insurance CEO. Develop and proactively manage the governance structure of the Office of the STI CEO, ensuring clear prioritisation, and the right level of cross functional engagement takes place. Preparation and submission of all key business reports required by the STI CEO (Board, Group, Exco, External & Internal engagements). Ensure STI CEO is adequately prepared for all meetings and engagements (Internal & External). Overall support of STI CEO performance management scorecard (Operationalising, monitoring, tracking). Proactive interpretation, review, alignment and tracking of Business Unit (BU) targets in line with the wider organisation Business Plan and Strategy to enable BU heads to achieve their strategic and operational objectives. Rhythm and cadence of the business (Operational Delivery) Develop and proactively manage the governance structure of the Office of the STI CEO, ensuring clear prioritisation, and the right level of cross functional engagement takes place. Preparation and submission of all key business reports required by the STI CEO (Board, Group, Exco, External & Internal engagements). Ensure STI CEO is adequately prepared for all meetings and engagements (Internal & External). Overall support of STI CEO performance management scorecard (Operationalising, monitoring, tracking). Proactive interpretation, review, alignment and tracking of Business Unit (BU) targets in line with the wider organisation Business Plan and Strategy to enable BU heads to achieve their strategic and operational objectives. Partner closely with Executive Committee (EXCO) members to deliver on critical strategic and operational requirements. End to end management of STI CEO cost centre and OPEX budget ensuring strategic initiatives and events take place while enforcing fiscal discipline. Proactive business analysis (Insights and Reporting) Identify and interpret best practice, short and long-term trends in telecoms markets to enable decision making Proactive monitoring and analysis of all key business financial and non-financial Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) including market insights in comparison to business plan and strategy. Develop effective information network that enables strategic decision making. Assist with benchmarking activities with other companies and organisations within and outside the industry. Assist management in interpreting and comparing benchmarking data to enable business problem solving and decision making. Identify and assess macroeconomic trends and possible impacts on the overall business. Project Management Conceptualisation, formulation, tracking, monitoring and prioritisation of the implementation of all key “top of mind” special projects and initiatives. Effectively communicate program expectations to Heads of department and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner in line with operational requirements. Cross functional coordination and monitoring of key strategic projects, programs and top of mind issues on behalf of the Office of the STI CEO. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential delays, and devise contingency plans. Report on a regular basis on specific projects, as required by the STI CEO. Organisational Risk Management (Reporting and Proactive resolution to business challenges and Issues) Prepare routine reports and develop recommendations by collating inputs from cross-departmental functions on strategic and operational matters. Identify and prepare relevant information and data for reporting purposes. Identify impacts to other parts of the business and conduct internal and external research to resolve business challenges. Develop alternative approaches to addressing challenges or opportunities. Coordinate process measurement requirements to ensure efficient and effective use of information resources. Report on a monthly basis on issues relating to progress made and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organisation. Highlight significant deviations from defined performance metrics; and consolidate recovery plans. Stakeholder Engagement Identify and manage stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support and test the business case. Build and maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders as an extension of the Office of the STI CEO – All Board Executive Directors, Executive Committee (Exco) members as well as External and Internal stakeholders. Key involvement in culture and staff initiatives. Innovation Strategy, Pipeline and Roadmap Champion an innovation stream within the innovation road map, ensuring the right resources are in place to execute on the strategy. Business Case Contribution Develop straightforward business cases to quantify current costs, justify project investment, and identify the return on investment. Financial Modeling Undertake strategic and tactical financial analysis, modeling, and evaluation to support business leaders in their decision making. Alliance Management Manage and structure a major part of the partnership governance, understanding the strategic, operational, and cultural fit between partner companies and putting processes and tools in place that ensure a smooth integration or a successful alliance execution. Work with guidance from senior colleagues. Corporate Representation Represent the STI CEO in industry and professional forums when required. Functional Strategy Formation Contribute to the formation of a key element of functional strategy through specialist expertise and insights, to ensure that the strategy meets business needs. General Education Minimum of 4-year Business Commercial qualification or related (Essential); MBA or Masters (Advantageous) General Experience 5-8 years' Commercial Management Experience (Essential); 3 years' in Insurance industry (Essential); Project Management Experience; Exposure in executive engagement - Excos/Board Apply Now
