Role Definition

The Integration Architect is responsible for providing both hands-on integration technical capability and taking lead role in establishing integration architecture and its design for the systems managed by Global IT. This includes series of SAP applications, Intapp products, MS SQL DBs, SaaS solutions such as Chrome River, Workday and any other systems currently in the scope of its Global IT solution.

The responsibilities also include interacting with regional IT teams and third parties to facilitates the delivery of integration works in these projects or BAU activities (change requests or incident fixes)

Be the go-to person for all the integration related topics, information and works for Global solution Analyse and deliver solution to integration requirements for projects/BAU works which involves Global systems. Hands on skill to deliver Design, Build, Test and also to lead/review the works delivered by third parties.

Own and manage integration architecture related artefacts (integration inventory, integration architecture/design, guidelines, integration patterns)
Do research, plan and lead the work to make proposal of 5 year roadmap of future proof integration to-be model
Closely work with support / service team, third parties to monitor integration related issues and lead resolution in timely manner (specially production incidents) and take proactive actions

Ensure compliance with IT Security policies, and participates in security, audit and regulatory initiatives. Reinforce security rules and escalate where risky activity is detected.
Manage the schedule & timeline of the activities across multiple systems/regions, assess and avoid conflicts and streamline the work efforts and communicate with relevant parties
Document processes, procedures, and plans, including changes, upgrades, and new integrations
Closely work with wider teams (Function/Technical team, Architects, Infrastructure team, Security team, Regional IT team) and manage necessary communications and escalations
Periodically seek feedback from the wider teams (Archtiects, IT leadership) on the integration solution

Core Skills and Experience required as global solutions are mainly based on SAP, Intapp, MS SQL applications, the role requires an individual with

A solid background in SAP integrations using SAP PI/PO with at least 3 SAP full implementation experiences to multi-national/regional corporations. Solid SAP PI/PO (7.5) architecture, design/build/test, support/project experiences (certified, ideally)

Previous experience of supporting integration between SAP and other interfaced applications. Strong SAP support skills, ideally developed through solid experience
Ability to design/build integrations based on SOAP, REST, JSON, XML
Capability to handle SFTP, JDBC connections, PGP encryption/decryption, Base64 codification
Good knowledge of SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and cloud connectors

Strong experiences in designing and deliverying integrations between Cloud and On-Premise, Cloud and Cloud, On-premise and On-premiseGood experience in designing and deliverying integrations in Microsoft AzureExperience of working in offshore model (third party vendors being offshore), cross-culturally and cross -functionally, and ability to adapt personal style to different environments;Pro-active collaboration and stakeholder management will be second nature and a core strength. Ability to influence internal departments in order to obtain co-operation;Experience of working in a fast paced environment with demanding deadlines and a desire to deliver to milestones would be a distinct advantage.Knowledge and experience with integration performance tuning, troubleshooting, go live support

Interacting with various other teams (including 3rd party vendors) during system build and implementation process
Experience in reviewing statement of work, RFPs for technical tool/ solution selection, projects from integration perspective
ITIL v3 Foundation would be an advantage
Experience with S4/HANA would also be beneficial

Nice to have skills & experience

knowledge of Intapp Integrate (aka Integration Builder) and IIS (based on Dell Boomi)
knowledge of MS SQL integration (SSIS)
Experiences in designing and implementing market leading ESB solutions such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Web Sphere
Demonstrable experience of working in an agile development environment
S4/HANA implementation
