MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Assess how the organisation is performing and help them improve their processes and systems. The BA would conduct research and analysis to come up with solutions to the business problems and help to introduce these solutions to businesses and their processes to create efficiencies and effectiveness. This involves going over and above duties to move business forward. Conduct Business Analysis planning for the relevant projects Perform Stakeholder Engagements Create requirements and specifications for business solutions Conduct business analysis and research to identify key metrics and opportunities for improvement and develop processes and procedures to ensure business solutions meet strategic goals Ensure business processes are running in accordance with Agile methodologies and consult with key stakeholders to determine business objectives and success factors Assist in development and execution of business plans Ensure that people, processes, and technology are aligned to deliver organisational goals QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Degree/Diploma in an Information Technology/Information Systems field required Minimum 3- 5 years’ solid experience as a Business Analyst Must have experience working on multiple projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business Insurance industry experience advantageous JIRA experience Microsoft Suites i.e. VISIO System knowledge of Confluence Agile and/or waterfall methodology BABOK knowledge and application BEHAVIOUR AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Planning Good communication (verbal and written) Builds good relationships with stakeholders Proactiveness Must be willing to go beyond expectations to meet deadlines Strong analysis and project management with the ability to manage multiple tasks at any given point Calm under pressure Able to operationalise abstract concepts Analytical mind Detail conscious Able to synthesise different information Quickly grasps concepts Able to constructively challenge processes Organised Time management skills Team collaboration Sees bigger picture as well as details Remuneration: A market related package including benefits Kindly click on the link below to apply.
