The successful applicant will be the custodian of the project budget and manage all costs relating to the specified construction projects. As the Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of the project, preparing estimates and cost reports whilst tracking any variations and movements in turnover / profit.
Minimum Requirements:
BTech or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying (NQF 7)
Knowledge of construction claims legislation (NEC4, JBCC)
At least 3 to 7 years relevant experience in a similar Built environment.
Must be well equipped to work with various Candy (CCS) functions.
Prepared to travel to project locations.
Valid Drivers License and own transport.
Preferred Competencies:
Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365 and BuildSmart.
Excellent planning, organising, communication and interpersonal skills.
Good decision making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritise and focus on deliverables.
A motivated self-starter who takes a proactive and solution driven approach.
Evidence of achieving deadlines in a demanding environment.
