Role Description This is a fixed term on-site Internship role as a Junior Test Analyst at adumo located in Bryanston. As a Junior Test Analyst you will be guided in being responsible for full testing of all adumo Payments solutions (covering functional, targeted testing, regression testing, stress testing etc.) Duties We will guide you to learn how to provide the following support to the business Planning Build test cases in TestRail based on requirements (Stories, Epics, Documented requirements). Plan weekly Test Sprints. Estimate effort (i.e. time frame and work required) for testing tasks and update JIRA accordingly. Define the test approach for each sprint, iteration or new project. Execute test cases manually/automatically. Establish continuous improvement initiatives specifically with regards to testing quality. Organize and facilitate reviews, inspections, and walkthroughs of test sprints/plans. Process Identify, log and verify defects in a defect tracking system (JIRA and Test Rail). Update JIRA weekly ahead of the weekly test Sprint review. Update the Master Product Test Packs after any new product or production highlight new test scenarios not contained in the Master Pack. Ensure consistency with group methodology. Send Monthly Stats update across all projects (as per report template). Delivery Ensure the delivery of all required testing collateral (Test plan, cases, scripts, data, sign off, etc.) for all releases and projects. Ensure that the software implemented meets the functional requirements defined by the business/client and is of high quality (no bugs encountered in production). Manual front end functional testing of applications - which includes system, integration, regression, and end to end testing and exploratory testing. Establish best practices for testing in an agile environment. Product risk mitigation thereby limiting defects in production. Sign-off on new releases. Support Support stakeholders of all projects impacting your domain of expertise in a constructive way. Provide first line support and root cause analysis of production issues. Test issues logged by TechOps and Onboarding teams (as logged via JIRA) Support 3rd Party test requests as logged by Channels, clients and KAM's. Maintenance Ensure Test ENV integrity at all times. Ensure Test ENV Uptime and performance at all times. Ensure Test Packs up to date and kept current at all times. Matric (NQF level 4) ISTQB or SASTQB Certified Tester – Foundation level Ideally some exposure to Automation testing tools and frameworks, such as (but not prescriptive) – Selenium WebDriver TestNG BDD Cucumber frameworks. Auto IT, Robot class to handle windows components. Object Model for designing Selenium scripts. SOAP UI, postman for API testing/web-services testing. Distributed testing using Selenium Grid. Writing & executing SQL queries for database testing. Appium, Selendroid for automating mobile application testing. To be discussed in Interview Apply Now
