Our client, a leading Manufacturing/Production company based in Sterkspruit - Cliffdale, is looking to fill the position of Internal / External Sales Representative. Purpose of the Role: Reporting to the Key Accounts Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for technically and/ or commercially selling products to existing and new customers within a specified geographical location or market segment. Key Responsibilities: Planning: Contribute to setting and supporting the organisation's vision and short term goals. Contribute to and set department goals with specific reference to market share, sales volume, price, product mix, geographical mix, cost, cash flow and marketing initiatives. Monitor Market demand, conditions and competitor activity with respect to impact on goals. Establish programs to ensure achievement of goals. Customer call plan and forward plan essential. Customer Relationship Management: Ensure that customers are contacted frequently, levels, quality and relationships are maintained according to agreed goals. Ensure timely response to service and commercial queries and complaints. Ensure consistency in approach to customer groups and segments. Prospecting of new accounts. Market actions. Forecasting: Develop monthly sales targets as per budgets set out. Keep track of weekly forecast and plan ahead. Reporting: Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports - call report, quote tracking. Customer satisfaction. Customer wallet share. Sales performance vs targets. Competitor information and trends. Company marketing action impact. Customer segmentation. Develop own action plan to achieve budgets. Sales Execution: Interact with customers as company's ambassador. Attend trade shows. Conclude sales agreement through customer negotiations and registration on company system. Keep up to date on the latest products, trends, and innovations. Execute sales plan by securing planned and new orders. Develop new customer database. Maintain and grow existing customer database. SHEQ: Manage and support SHEQ Initiatives to achieve company SHEQ objectives. Compliance with relevant legal prescriptions and constraints. Compliance with company policy and procedures. Compliance with company, statutory and legal requirements by studying and understanding requirements. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
