Thoroughly examine the internal control setup, identifying risks, and crafting a robust audit plan for effective control testing. Conducting audits with accuracy to uncover control gaps, potential fraud, compliance issues, and deviations from management policies. Creating meticulous work papers, computations, and statistical reports to ensure strict adherence to established control procedures, maintaining a comprehensive audit record. Using sound judgment and creative problem-solving to suggest practical solutions for identified control issues and inefficiencies. Leveraging audit expertise to tackle complex elements, including issues escalated by management, showcasing adept navigation of intricate audit scenarios. Applying independent judgment to tailor audit strategies to the unique requirements of each specific audit. Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting CTA CA(SA) Experience: Newly Qualified CA(SA) to 1 year post article exp Completed articles with a well-recognized audit firm Experience in the retail/ manufacturing sector is highly desirable. NB Able to travel during the week for at least 25% of the time.
