Internal Auditor - Data Analytics - Cape Town City Centre
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
Create and sustain data analysis tools to aid ongoing auditing and monitoring procedures
Collaborate with internal auditors and business units to pinpoint, create, and enhance data analysis tools for both spontaneous and scheduled reviews
Conduct preemptive data analysis assessments in critical operational areas to assist management and communicate discoveries
Establish data analysis frameworks and document irregularities for data assurance evaluations within Information Management projects
Skills & Experience:
At least 5 years experience and practical knowledge in the utilization of data mining and analytical software within an audit setting
Proficiency in ACL Analytics or Arbutus Analytics and PowerBi advantageous
Data management concepts, database structures and database management systems
Skilled with Sage X3, Accpac and Sage 300 Payroll
Qualification:
B.Sc. Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent degree/diploma with computer programming, statistics and mathematics as major components
CISA/ ISACA advantageous
