Reference: CTF018534-AM-1 Are you a qualified CA(SA) not wanting to go the traditional route of Audit or Financial Management? This rare role within a global group is open to a candidate who has 3 or more years of post-article experience specifically focusing on projects and technical accounting. A strong focus of the application of IFRS to lease contracts and revenue recognition as well as the development of Group policies and processes are the main focus, with an array of other opportunities ad hoc. Preparation of Accounting analyses for complex contracts and transactions Maintain accounting policies in compliance with FRS 102 Support dissemination and implementation of policies Maintain financial control policies Develop a training programme for technical accounting policies and delivery of the training Involved in key reporting cycles for month -end, including supporting group consolidation and implementation of reporting processes Involvement in group year end audit process Review of balance sheet recons Provide technical accounting support Ad hoc duties as required Skills & Experience: CA(SA) Experience writing technical papers Strong exposure to projects including revenue recognition and lease contracts Application/ Implementation of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 FRS 102 working knowledge Qualification: CA(SA) or Completed SAICA articles and registered AGA(SA) Contact ALEXANDRA MALONEY on 021 418 1750 , quoting the Ref: CTF018534.
