Desired Experience & Qualifications: ?
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- A relevant tertiary qualification and / or a relevant qualification in concrete technology will be an advantage.
- Experience in customer liaison and sales / administration or an orders and scheduling environment.
Key Responsibilities: ?
- Pricing of products offered by the company to customers.
- Accurately preparing sales quotes for customers.
- Pricing of tenders with assistance from technical staff, where required.
- Taking of orders for concrete and pumps and scheduling thereof on computer for on-time delivery.
- Administering payment from cash customers prior to delivery of product.
- Correct allocation of zones for accurate payment of transporters.
- Ensuring all orders are available daily in advance for loading at the Concrete Batch Plants.
- Ensuring correct utilization of truck mixers through optimal scheduling of orders.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and Concrete Batch Plant Operators.
- Addressing and resolving customer queries and problems.
- Sales administration: following up on quotes and tenders daily with both sales staff and customers / general marketplace.
- Placing of cement orders for Concrete Batch Plants and communicating delivery times to plant staff.

- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Sound interpersonal skills and organizational ability.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Sound computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability and willingness to work irregular and extended hours.
