In this role, you'll be the engine behind our sales success, supporting our sales representatives and contributing to the company's growth. Here's what you'll do: Become a customer champion: Understand customer needs, profile them effectively, and source the perfect equipment and materials at the best prices. Quote, sell, and deliver: Prepare compelling quotes, follow up on sales, manage purchases and deliveries, and ensure customer satisfaction. Relationship builder: Develop strong ties with customers through counter sales, telesales, and building effective agreements. Pipeline pro: Identify and route qualified leads to the sales team, nurturing strong relationships with channel partners to close deals. Financial wiz: Issue invoices and receipts, manage payments, and report on sales performance. Knowledge is power: Continuously learn about our products, attend training, and even deliver presentations to clients. Team player: Support the sales and marketing team, mentor junior members, and collaborate across departments. Stock savvy: Liaise with stores, manage stock levels, and assist with monthly stock takes and audits. Data champion: Keep the sales quotations and orders index up-to-date for smooth operations. What we're looking for: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales support or customer service role. Strong understanding of customer needs and excellent communication skills. Negotiation and procurement skills to secure the best deals. Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently. A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
