A well-established international chemical raw material company supplying the manufacturing industry requires the above to assist the MD and sales team in terms of all admin and sales/logistics support. Minimum requirements for the role: Minimum matric is essential for this role. Previous experience having worked as an internal sales/customer services administrator within the manufacturing or distribution or related industries where you have worked with stock is essential. The successful candidate must be computer literate with good Excel experience and ideally have experience working with Sage or SAP or a related ERP System is preferred. The successful candidate must have good PowerPoint experience to be able to present reports and various sales figures and graphs. Previous experience having worked on sage or Pastel or a related system is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate must have good people skills as they will be liaising with customers at all levels. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work independently or in a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Assisting the MD and sales team supporting them with all administration and sales/logistics etc. Receiving and processing local and international orders on SAP ensuring customer delivery expectations are met. Ensuring external Key Account Managers are kept informed of any developments that are relevant to their customers. Attending weekly divisional meetings. Ensuring that all customer complaints, issues and queries are dealt with timeously. Assisting with quotations and monthly pricing. Communicating with customers with regard to order status, stock availability pricing etc. Liaising with transport companies on export orders internationally. Processing invoices and compiling customer quotes. Liaising with the warehouse regarding the delivery of raw materials to clients.
