This internship runs for 12 months and provides a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain hands-on experience in coordinating workshop tasks within a specialized environment. Key Responsibilities: Booking in Tools in Software System: Efficiently utilize the client's software system to book in tools, ensuring accurate data entry and meticulous organization. Follow-Up and Communication: Engage in regular follow-ups with technicians and customers regarding open jobs and outstanding purchase orders (POs), ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction. Customer Base Maintenance: Take responsibility for maintaining the client's customer base and information, ensuring accuracy and completeness. End-to-End Process Ownership: Assume ownership of end-to-end processes within the workshop and laboratory, coordinating tasks seamlessly to support the client's operations. Quotes Generation: Collaborate with the client's team to generate quotes, liaise with customers, and work closely with internal personnel for effective communication and execution. Qualifications: Completed Matric/Grade12 (Certificate Required) Qualification in Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Requirements: Proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to take ownership and effectively manage end-to-end processes. Familiarity with workshop planning software systems is a plus. Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
