PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Control and management of the inventory team and provide accurate perpetual stock counts in line with the company BOPs. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Lead and manage the department on a daily basis. Ensure that four-week cycle stock take schedule is adhered to. Manage and monitor shrinkage by ensuring that stock count variances are investigated, and corrective action is taken. Analyse and action daily inventory reports. Ensure that cancel line targets are achieved. Conduct stock takes, investigate lost and misallocated stock. Ensure that all damages are removed and adjusted timeously. Assist in other Inbound functions as and when required. Maintain high standard of housekeeping and ensure adherence to safety standards. Conduct daily team meetings with team members. Manage staff performance process. Conduct grievances and disciplinary procedures when required. Facilitate team development interventions through the TNA process. Manage staff attendance and absenteeism. Process staff timecards on the computer system. Minimum requirements National Senior Certificate (Matric). 3 to 5 years experience. Knowledge of inventory systems/processes essential AS400 knowledge advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Accuracy and attention to detail. Logistics and Supply chain qualifications(advantageous). Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised. Sound leadership skills essential. Self-starter, flexible and pro-active.
